Audiocodes 4FXS/4FXO Analog VoIP Gateway
The MediaPacks are well-suited for commercial VoIP deployment. Field-proven voice and fax technology and feature-rich design makes the MediaPacks an excellent solution for various emerging VoIP applications. The MediaPacks are used in VoIP-based PBX or IP-PBX architecture as a mediation gateway and remote analog extension. It is also used for optimizing voice transmission over satellite links, payphone networks, centralized IVR and Quality Monitoring applications. The MediaPacks are vastly deployed in the MTU (Multi Tenant Units) broadband access networks, IP Centrex and rural areas.
How does it work?
The Audiocodes MediaPack MP-118-4FXS4FXO is an 8 port, mixed FXO and FXS gateway, offering 4 FXS and 4 FXO ports. You can plug in up to 4 analog devices, such as traditional analog telephones or fax machines into this gateway, and convert these devices to allow connectivity to an IP network. You can also plug in up to (4) analog (POTS) lines into this gateway.
